Join Us This Christmas

Special Events Throughout December

We invite you to join us for these very special Advent and Christmas season events.

Christmas Eve Services

This annual service gives children of all ages the opportunity to wiggle, giggle, and help us tell the Christmas Story. Bring diapers, formula, and other new, unwrapped supplies for infants and toddlers to be donated to local charities. Donations from this service will benefit the Lamb Center in Fairfax Circle, a local service provider to the homeless.

7:30 p.m. – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

All students grades 7-12 are invited to the Youth Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 13th. Weíll meet in the youth room for a pizza dinner and gift exchange at 5pm, then go over to Meadowlark Gardensí Winter Walk of Lights to see Christmas lights (outdoors – rain or shine)! We should be back at the church by 8pm for pick-up.

Students can bring a gift ($10 or under – silly or serious) for the Christmas gift exchange. Bring weather appropriate clothing as we will spend time walking outside and feel free to invite friends. We only have a certain number of tickets (and they are known to sell out of tickets), so please RSVP to Ginny as soon as possible to make sure you get your spot! Weíll get extra tickets if they are available.

If you can either help drive students for this event or provide food items, please let Ginny know!

Sunday, December 20, after worship

As we journey through Advent to Christmas, we are once again promoting our Fair Trade Exchange sale.  After the worship service on December 20, we will be offering coffees, teas, Palestinian olive oil, and a variety of delicious chocolates–perfect for sharing with your guests or stuffing in Christmas stockings.  Every purchase benefits struggling small farmers and workers around the world who are thereby more justly compensated for their efforts.
